anyway, lao niang wans to sing soon! but no money. i have a $3 meal plan for the next few weeks till payday! and den im off to hongkong/macau. woohoo...fat fat fat.

my weekend was good. our team (company) took part in the public service carnival telematch and came in first! i think we r planning to use the prize money for a dinner celebration or sth....

sat and sun was spent at the sg river regatta race...very tired although i only rowed one time!! HAHAHAHA. k la i will train harder...i already put qianyi baby as my target liao. to train to be as pro!!!

Huilin's Wedding Dinner!

randoms: lao niang is sick and is on MC today! hate it when im sick becos my face doesnt show any signs of weakness and fragility or whatsoever...i jus look like im perfectly alright. don't remember when was the last time i go to the doctors wif somebody...(although most of the time i go to see doctor to cheat MCs) but still. i think im jus too tough...and apparently guys like those super weak and thin girls whom they feel they should protect and love dat kind..no wonder i am still........

but i think i'll recover soon...i love my job and i love the people i see everyday at work. they r all very nice people.

recently i found out dat s----- is -------d. not as sad as i tot i'd be. a little bit angry at myself for being so zhun at my guess. but i hope they'd be happy tog and i pray dat there wont be an item number 4 for lesson learnt for dat s-----anymore. now what abt myself. still stuck at the same spot..cannot bring myself to proceed further. oh well, i still need time and i still got time anyway.

Batam with the random-est grp of people.

Why random-est?

simply becos its a combination of pairs and mini-grps from ntu cee who never did hang out together as one while in sch but only after graduation. dun ask me how it happened. it jus did.

and this trip was originally proposed by randolph jung, but executed by ni lao niang - me.

the story was simple becos randolph wanted a getaway during the hari raya holiday but i was in the midst of planning a redang diving trip wif some colleagues and baby so i ask if he is interested and den he asked more people (i tot he wanted to mass email everyone from our course) but somehow diving was cancelled becos it was too ex due to the public holiday and the next cheapest we can find is batam.

but he did offer his help!!

but dats not the end.

somehow while trying to check-in to the ferry, me and randolph's boarding pass (in the form of a scan card) couldnt get tru the customs so basically we missed the ferry wif our frens and his gf stayed back to accompany him and i was stuck wif a couple i barely knew.

random : this couple has been together for like 8 yrs!! i think can get married already la...u apply for house now mus wait 5 yrs lei!! and u noe how they got together??? randolph dedicated a song to the gf during their FIRST 3 MONTHS JC v-day when the girl dun even noe who is the guy!!! and den they started dating and got together till now. HOW LORMANTIC CAN??!! WHY SHENG NEVER DEDICATE SONG TO ME LAST TIME IN CJ??!!

ok and finally we reached harris.

and darren looked like he was gonna tell us abt some soccer rules but apparently he was jus talking rubbish plus we can't really hear wad he was talking anyway! basically darren whispers. he doesn't talk.

and the room! our room has an extra bed becos my room got moment and kim and me!! but moment hug me to slp every night on a single bed.

and this is the beach. Do not ever have expectations for batam beach. never. jus imagine u r at east coast park. lots of water activities wif sucky beach. tada.

and this is mr policeman. he doesn't like to take picture so we can only capture him at occasions like this.

You reallie should not read this entry becos its a freaking boring complain post.

uray wants to go back to the states. away from home.

Story:

-she came home at 1.30am last night and realised someone placed e door stopper and TRIED to prevent her from getting into the house. how stupid because she is DAMN STRONG she actually jus need to push the door slightly wif her 10 fingers and she's in the house!

-before she left the house at 7am the next day to go for her dragonboat training (yes she's intending to join dragonboat corp) she got scolded again for whatever reasons she is totally not clear of becos she reallie don't see why dragonboat will harm her body like what her parents claim it'd be. taking her health and rest away. u can actually rest more efficiently if u exercise, no? and u will definitely be 'healthier'. so, why again?

-her dad called her at freaking 5.30pm on a SATURDAY asking her why is she not back yet and gave an almost 10mins talk on how mum will get angry when she dun get to see uray's face when she's back.

-so she forsaked her buddies (n now they got problem fixing a new date becos everyone's so busy) and got back home to be a guai guai nu er at 8pm (DAMN FREAKING EARLY ITS A SATURDAY COME ON) but got lectured at the dining table with her brother's gf in the house. mum u really noe how to give me face. although i treat her as part of the family but u can at least TRY to be more tactful.

aren't ur menopause period over? it seems like yours is for eternity.

if u could have jus said sth like "girl tonight come back for dinner okay, i cook ur favourite dish (which i actually don't have becos i eat everything so dat basically makes it easier for her. everything will be my fav dish!)" i will SURE come back to eat one lor.

u reallie need to let me type this out. i've been ren-ing this for very long. and it seems like no one can understand my frustrations and i dont even feel like my siblings are standing on my side!

so i chose to keep quiet when they scold but keep quiet to ur parents=showing attitude and becoming very da dan. u try to explain to them=u r arguing. u show ur anger and frustrations=u r REBELLING!

作人难，作子女更难。

i reallie need to get married fast and have my own place. im already 23 and now tat i've started working, i can't be like reporting last minute plans to her at last minute and kanna scoldings all the time right??? it jus doesn't make sense. she need to understand there's only 7 days in a week and i just can't give her 7 days. maybe just 4 i would say im already trying my best..

and i seriously don't need any comments telling me why my mum is behaving like dat and what i should do and not do. i totally noe what she wans. she jus wan me to have some time wif the family. i noe it all im not stupid and immmature i noe how to think. but she reallie need to understand dat im reallie trying my best to squeeze out time for everything and everyone impt.

SORRY!

Sorry for the lack of updates. i've already been back for almost 2 weeks and im still at the LA post! my bad.

Some quick updates:

-i've officially started work at the beauty world site office on the 31st of aug.

-been trying to meet up wif people but yet still haven got time to meet most of them.
(and they dun have time for me too! eg deborah tan)

-my work place is reallie far and in 3 months time, my site office will be relocated to dairy farm estate. (seems like i jus can't get away from long hr travelling)

-to make myself feel better, i have an ezlink card wif alot of money inside enough for me to travel everyday and its all paid for by the company! (if u noe who im working for-IM SO SECRETIVE...HIA HIA HIA)

-there's a lot of food around my current job site but not at cashew.

-im very fat now.

-my immediate plans will be to remain this fat until someone says i should reallie go exercise.

-im quite loving my work and what i will be doing for the next 4 years.

-my team is great and i have a very supportive and handsome and muscular boss.

-im HIGHLY motivated. by HIM and the rest of the team members. HAHAA.

-wif respect to the recent changed relationship status on facebook, i still consider myself single!!!

From LA to San Diego...

Buy the super good, never get lost GPS! Avis use this GPS but im not sure wads e brand though.

and so we had to return the car...

and take blardy G bus which apparent jus stands for the GREEN bus.

and hop on the metro (like our MRT) which actually don't have any gantry for u to insert or scan the ticket. its basically jus a paper. so if u wan to be ling se, go ahead without buying the pass and siam asap when u see the ticket officer.

and this is soooo WHY WE BAN GUMS IN SG

and the place we visit the most to get siao's cereals.

and the tour around hollywood hill and beverly hill.

and i seriously cannot remember which house belong to which celebrity. but jus noe that they r jus mansions dat belongs to freaking rich people who might not even stay there!

and u seriously wont remember which house belongs to which celebrity! so jus noe dat they all belong to very rich people who probably has more than those mansions u see.

And michael jackson's house...wif the FBI truck!

and these two guys actually asked "do u have some money for us" when we didnt intend to leave some tips for them.

and here we r at universal city!

and somebody loves spongebob!

and mr bean's car is reallie tamade cute!!! i love small cars!!! easy to park! (for no skill drivers like moi)

and shrek is cute!! i jus got a thing for muscles...hiak hiak hiak.

and here we go on the MOST EXCITING RIDE (roller coaster rides not included becos they r so not meant to be taken) in the whole studio!

and it was like 4 people to one row and we so happen to sit wif 2 singaporeans!!!

and i need to tell u we met the same 2 people at san diego zoo again on another random day!!! whole land area so big but we jus kept bumping into each other! fate or not. believe it or not. but ya it does happen!

and uray is so brave!!! she hardly ever wanna do such rides!

and mummy is wer u take the "YOU REALLIE SHOULD NOT TAKE THIS" roller coaster ride.

gimme one thousand dollars i will still NOT go up. pay my sch fees for me...hmm i still MIGHT consider..might only!

and i had to get myself another luggage becos the old one handle broke. hai.

and the stupid ah bu neh neh shop owner was like "the more frenly u r, the more discount i give!" knn freaking touch my shoulder and i get almost 10bucks off. baby was like, let him touch ur backside u bring it home for free! but...my pigu is still very precious cannot let ah bu neh neh touch!! although its jus pigu.

and tada! check this out. 27usd for this freaking big luggage.

and say goodbye to beloved 'ANG ANG'...ang ang went through alot wif me...thailand...those clothes from all the wholesale..she carry until siao...hongkong...those food i brought back and blabla..also very xingku...the two taiwan trips and shanghai...so much so much. and i had to leave her at the disgusting westfield inn at LA! *sobs*

and den here we go from LA to san diego!

seriously, LA is overrated! and there r reallie many poor people around n dangerous people cum gunshots...

and finally im done wif this post. took me abt 3 days becos i jus cant get the typing done...although i still DIDNT REALLIE TYPE MUCH. im jus a woman wif few words i guess..*ahem*

and yes, laoniang is home. i miss home but yet i love travelling too.. but it reallie feels like i haven been home for the longest time. so familiar yet so unfamiliar environment i dunno wad to feel anymore. however, i can't wait to meet up wif all my frens who perhaps, might be waiting for me to meet me...perhaps! lao niang freaking starts work @ beauty world on the coming monday...and will later be posted to hillview....quote xiaowen WTH IS HILLVIEW? JB MA?" u r almost right...pretty close to jb for someone who stays in sengkang, doesnt make any diff. i am SO EXCITED ABT THE TRAVELLING TO WORK PART!!! WOOHoo!

From Vegas to Death Valley to LA..

liu ling hsiu (my hao jie mei from taiwan) was very shocked when i told her i dunno wad is FRIDAY'S! she was like "singapore no friday's ma??" seriously we dun have...i dun even remember any other 'days' we have in singapore lor...so they have friday's in taiwan...and she ask us to try the US one! ok la we will try when we're free.

and instead of choosing a car that has a bigger boot........

we took a toyota yaris which has almost no boot to put ur not very small luggages..

but since baby gets to drive her dream car...why not. and i love white cars!

and i tot that cow was real.

on our way to death valley....tamade long drive..

and it seems like the whole of death valley drive u see different views...

change to lao niang drive lo!!

i think my niania will flip when she see this picture...

the whole time when i was driving on the death valley route...i felt like ms jay chou in initial d!!! the roads r damn curvy and it felt like free-fall when we were going down the slope although my foot was on the brake constantly!

driving in LA is crazy. i swear the cars travel at 140miles/hr.

finally we reach westfield inn LAX. chickenly opened by ah bu neh neh.

the lift smelt like urine..

and the corridor looks like a renovated old changi hospital.

and so we stayed in this room for 3 nights...got used to the urine and ah bu neh neh smell.

LA wasn't as nice as we tot it was gonna be. will update on LA soon.

Vegas, Again!

new driver this time. hopefully a better one. (the previous driver got into an accident)..afterall in europe is also left hand drive!

and siao insist i take this wif her...OVER MY DEAD BODY.

lao niang everything no scared. only scared of cats, dogs, ghost, GERI/DEB ANGRY, and SCARY RIDES!

and we walked all e way back to our hotel...about 1 hr journey!

and the nightmare packing MY luggage

and den we continued our journey..to death valley and LA! i shall continue it on another.

Quick update

1. lao niang survived the blardy hike from north rim to south rim!!!! the whole journey me and may were complaining why we pay so much to torture ourselves!!! afterall we r not young liao lor!!! but i guess its all worth it. afterall we jus wan to enjoy the hike and see the great canyon and colorado river from the bottom...and not see who can climb up the top first!!

and we reallie want to thank ivan for carrying the tent for us!!!! reallie appreciate it!!! but also dun have to keep telling people u help us carry lor...

2. lao niang got reallie lucky these few weeks. firstly, she picked up 50usd at her work plc cafe ground. secondly, she picked up a canon powershot at the north rim....HAAAAAHAAAAAAA. 3rdly, lynn helped her rub muscle rub on her poor legs!!!!! I LOVE LYNN!!!! now she has to take care of two old woman...yes i consider myself lucky to have such a nice fren!!! if i dun look at the mess in my room.

3. i got my new laptop!!!

4. and have successfully reached las vegas.

5. will blog proper when she is at LA...cos right now in vegas the 4 of us r sharing one computer wif one connection to save the cost.

we still got third place!!!

LATEST UPDATE

1. Lao niang's computer officially crashed!!!!!

i tried switching it on last night but cannot on...so i tried to remove the battery and jus run on e adapter also cannot work. so i tried wif veron's ac adapter also cannot work.

i concluded. its not the adapter or battery's fault. ITS THE COM. now i cannot even get it started....

2. lao niang is officially broke.

3. lao niang wanna get a macbook in US for number 1 but becos of number 2 she is not able to get number 3 done.

we need to get her a professional swim coach. maybe one handsome looking one to make her more motivated to learn!
